Sitekit Channel Manager - Powering E-Communication in more detail

Channels are a way of keeping your web site visitor up to date by informing them of your organisation's news and changes. Your mailing list can be populated through two methods; the uploading of bulk data in a specified format from a CSV file or via the addition of an opt-in check box to a relevant form on the site allowing users to sign themselves up. In line with the latest legislation, Sitekit CMS keeps a record of all Sitekit CMS based broadcasts instigated by its users:

  • Upload CSV files to create mailing lists, either via the interface or via a Sitekit CMS application.
  • Mail page as broadcast- rather than writing HTML specifically for the broadcast Sitekit CMS lets you create a page on your site and then use that as the source of the HTML to broadcast. This also means that other features from your site design, for example navigation links, are preserved in the email.
  • HTML/plain text support - users are requested to specify a format preference when they opt-in to a channel. Sitekit CMS supports both text and HTML formats. Subscriber editing - each subscriber entry can be deleted or edited to keep your mailing list up to date.

Sitekit created a course dedicated to our demanding requirements. Delivered on-site and timed to fit around our project launch. The service has been admirable.. - Chris Nausbaum, Read Engineering.
